Which twin has the ideology?

I don’t get it. Why is one more “inclusive” than the other? Unless he’s pretending that ladies/gents refers to class and thus excludes everyone below the upper class, which of course is not what ladies/gents means (not least because real gents don’t call themselves gents).

Anyway. Public toilets are not meant to be inclooosive in every sense. They’re for everyone, so inclooosive that way, but they are separated/segregated by sex, because of the whole Territory Between the Legs aspect. Women should not be forced to accept Mr Richards in the cafe toilets.

    It seems to me that “hers” and “his” are easier to understand than “ladies” and “gents” for people with limited English. I wouldn’t have guessed that it had anything to do with other forms of inclooosion.

    But I could believe that “she/her” Steph Richards has only a hammer and thus everything looks like a nail.

    Maybe designating toilets by pronoun suggests that pronoun-havers may use them according to their pronouns.

    Could be, but then again the same applies to the words women and men. “It’s ‘she!!” is the same as “I AM a woman!!” in this context. It’s word games all the way down.

    I am confused by all this. (Who isn’t?) Which toilet should the they/them people use? Or those with the truly exotic pronouns?

    Harold, as far as I’m concerned, the they/them people have rejected the idea that they are either sex; they need to use only those restrooms that are single, and have no designated sex. A lot of places don’t have those (at least in the US, where it isn’t a given), but oh well. If they aren’t either, why should they foist themselves on people they refuse to admit they are like?

    Same with jobs, especially things like acting and other things that are still sex segregated. Why should a they/them be cast as either a she or a he? As far as I’m concerned, they can be cast as the rear end of the horse.
