The press is so RUDE

Wut?

Why “podium” of all things?

Is it because he’s never typed the word before and had to ask someone how to spell it?

Is it because he thinks it’s a silly word?

Because he’s dimly aware that “going to the podium” is shorthand for answering press questions, and thinks that kind of shorthand has to be signaled with scare quotes?

Because he has no clue and just sticks in capital letters and quotation marks at random?

Because most of his brain has gone dark?

Yet another episode of calling someone’s statement a lie, or sexist, or racist is worse than the lie, or sexism or racism.

What does he mean by the sentence fragment “the word gets out anyway”? What word? It sounds like he’s talking about some kind of rumour, but the rest of the tweet doesn’t mention a rumour. It talks about inaccurate coverage of her taking questions, but you can’t get inaccurate coverage of something you don’t do, so there would be no word to get out if she didn’t.

    WTF?

Truly, Donald Trump is so incoherent, he’ll make you wish language had never been invented.

The word, you know – the word! It’s a saying. People say it. Everybody is saying it. Many people say it. Some. Many. I hear. Do you say it? I say it. Let’s say it together! No let’s me say it. Uh oh I dropped my phone.

Word? I guess he means the Presidents/WH/Governments stance on things. I mean Trump puts it out on Twitter right? Given that his personal twitter account is to be regarded as official press releases, it begs the question why the WH bothers employing SHS and the other publicity minions. They don’t apparently actually do anything. Also, if SHS finds the job a bit much, why doesn’t she just resign, rather than hide in her office eating snickers? When did she get the right to be a snowflake?
