Nothing except everything

Trump is chatting about the Nobel Peace Prize with his usual dignity and stoicism.

Trump overnight delivered a lengthy, scathing rant on the decision to award South African jurist Navanethem “Navi” Pillay the Nobel Peace Prize.

In a post on Truth social, Trump called the decision an “indelible stain on Norway” as he dismissed Pillay’s career and touted his own diplomatic record.

“I know nothing about this woman, and neither does anyone else! In fact, to the best of my knowledge, no one ever heard of her other than the fact that she, very obviously, hates Israel,” he wrote, adding: “I don’t know what the woman has done.”

Where to begin. He starts with claiming no one ever heard of Pillay only to contradict himself without even starting a new sentence. No one ever heard of her except that they have heard of her, very obviously. Is he able to pick his own nose without assistance?

The post came after the president had already lambasted the award decision while speaking at a campaign rally in Syracuse, New York, on Friday, where he branded it as “disgraceful and embarrassing.”

You know what and who is really disgraceful and embarrassing?

    What a greedy, grabby baby.

He’s already got a Nobel Peace Prize, even though it’s stolen valor.

He seems okay with, e.g., claiming made up club golf tournament championships that he only “wins” by cheating, or displaying the manufactured Time Magazine “person of the year” covers he puts up at his resorts.

Well, on the one hand he’s stupid enough to think just having the physical object is having the prize, but on the other hand he’s greedy and self-obsessed enough to want and demand also the prize as commonly understood. TWO Nobels, or one and a half, or something.
