That is very Fortran. She prefers the more direct approach of running across MY ACTUAL HEAD at between four and five every morning, but the intent is the same.
I think the guy is actually pretending about the alarm clock part. I bet he doesn’t close the door at night at all – or that’s not the bedroom door, or both. I think he just threw in the alarm clock part to make it funnier.
