The whole thing is a bad joke gone awry, a prank that has backfired on the pranksters and is now sucking everything into the whirlwind.

If nothing else, a lot can happen to influence an opinion about someone in half a year…
These tweets aren’t only crude and embarrassing. They’re also incoherent. He can’t even pull off an insult smoothly.
1. People say “Morning Joe” is mean to me.
2. I wouldn’t know about 1. I don’t watch the show. It’s beneath me.
3. If they don’t like me, then why did they come to my mansion? (1 isn’t true, after all! They do like me! 2 is also false: I do care about them!)
4. They are bad people.
