Still more clearing the swamp?
So her brand’s political donations and Sincere Religious Beliefs are safe from the masses?
I’m starting to feel sorry for swamps being used as a metaphor for this administration. There are a lot of good things about swamps and in them. On the other hand, blood-sucking mosquitoes works nicely for these folks or disease-infested and polluted lakes, which may be cumbersome, could work but I’d go with drain the cesspool.
zubanel, I’m with you. This country has already drained far too many swamps – the Everglades, for instance. But as a metaphor, it really does fit with Trump’s unwillingness to engage with the science behind any environmental issue. He’s reminiscent of the old oligarchs who thought everything was theirs for the taking.
At this point the swamp has been replaced with a holding pool of radioactive waste, awaiting determination of the location of its permanent disposal site. During this time close approach or prolonged exposure could be hazardous to one’s health.
Iavanka sinks down with the father monkey. No family, I submit, dislikes America more than the Trumps. We are slaves to them.
Yes, the brand has achieved consciousness, now it’s waiting for Ivanka to catch up.
