Apparently it’s from Edinburgh Pride. I’d love to know what the rest of the “BRICKS NOT” sign says, but the “NO MORE TERFS” sign with the picture of a woman’s mouth talking and the “fuck TERFs” are informative on their own. Pride is about hating feminist women now. Whoopdydoo.
What Gordon Ramsay has to do with it I don’t know.

I’ve seen a few videos with people talking about their transitude with random interludes of Ramsey being his sweary, obnoxious self (presumably these are taken from clips of him shouting about something else). It seems to be a thing, I don’t know why.

I don’t get it either. I think he’s supposed to symbolise intolerance but frankly it’s anyone’s guess.
Hard not to take them seriously, innit? Their “presentation” is as convincing as their rhetoric.

I’d guess “bricks not [milk]shakes” but from what I can see of the letters that doesn’t look right. I’m sure it’s something horrible along those lines though.
It has been interesting to compare opinions bemoaning a lack of focus on trans rights at Pride (in line with the sign in the photo) with opinions criticizing Pride for being almost entirely focused on trans rights. I have a biased set of information, I’m sure, but the latter view seems more compelling to me.
The Gordon Ramsay thing is just a meme, that evolved out what is almost a catchphrase from his shows – his worst tirades emerge when something absolutely basic is missed. Originally, a dish called ‘lamb in sauce’ which his hapless subjects proferred to him as ready, with no sauce evident. He then screams ‘where is the lamb sauce?!?’. Similar incidents happened often enough to turn it into a meme.
I’m going to go there.
So many of this lot have no awareness of how unattractive they make themselves in every way. To the extent that they groom at all, they do so not with an eye to cleanliness or neatness, but to advertise whatever Brand they’re shilling at the moment. Their precious ‘dennities.
Nobody likes a slob, and most of this set are disgusting slobs. All the “body positivity” in the world isn’t a good enough excuse.
