Stronger competition
I have yet to meet a real champion who has a problem with trans women.
Real champions want stronger competition.
If you win because bigotry got your competition banned… you’re a loser.
Real champions may want stronger competition but that doesn’t mean they want unfair competition. Champion footballers age 12 no doubt want to play against the best age 12s, that doesn’t mean they want to play against the best adult players.
What a truly gruesomely self-serving self-flattering dishonest thing to say – that conceited selfish narcissistic piece of shit telling the women he’s doing them a favor by upping the competition when in fact he’s stealing their chances.
It’s not being a loser for women to race against women without having hulking Rhys McKinnon thrown into the mix. The loser is Rhys McKinnon insisting on racing against women.

That’s a strange thing for Rhys to admit to, considering he gave up competing against strong opposition to chase easier wins. For such a public intellectual he’s crap at thinking things through.
Isn’t it though? I just realized I didn’t quite make that point in the post so came back to make it. If real champions want stronger competition, Rhys, why are you insisting on less strong competition?
Then surely Rachel McKinnon won’t mind competing in the men’s division going forward?
Yeah, McKinnon can stop taking testosterone suppressors (which they claim makes no difference and are an imposition) and they can be the ultimate feminist by proving that a ‘real’ women can compete the hell out of it with men. Sounds like a win all around really. I’ll just sit here and hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

Well yeah, the logical conclusion of this is to turn sex segregated sports into mixed, maximising the strength of competition for the women. But Rhys already fled competition against men… hmm.
So not only did McKinnon steal a medal from the first-finishing woman, but he then added insult to injury by saying she wasn’t a real champion.

Martina’s victories weren’t against trans women, so they don’t count. Obviously.

In American football, the organization of children’s leagues by age hasn’t worked out terribly well. A team with a specified age range may include pre-adolescents and near-adults, with height and weight disparities of 6 inches or 50 pounds.
And, of course, parents will lie about their kid’s age to get them teamed against smaller boys.
