Why bother with a face mask when you can create a diversion by restarting the Cold War?
Trump mixed up “faster than sound”, “faster than current US missiles”, and “faster than Chinese or Russian missiles” in his comment, switching between them with abandon. He apparently doesn’t care, 17 is bigger than 5, it doesn’t matter if they are referring to the same thing.
As best as I’ve been able to find, the new US missiles will be 17 as fast as current US missiles.

Did someone in military weapons development tell our feeble minded president about a new piece of ordnance? Whoever it was probably gave him the children’s book version of what it is, a super duper missile! More powerful than a nuclear locomotive! 17 times faster than a speeding bullet! I’m sure the cartoons were fascinating. His lack of mature intelligence is insulting to all of us. I heard once that newspapers are written at approximately an 8th grade reading level, which I have found to be mostly true, but Trump’s condescending ass speaks at about a 3rd grade level from what I’ve seen. He is either that incredibly stupid, or he thinks everyone else is. I never thought I’d see such a stupid president, he makes Bush Jr. look like a genius.
Also Obama’s pandemic response plan is a “thin packet of paper”? So I suppose most hardcover books are ‘thick packets of paper?’ How illiterate are these people ffs? Were there words on those pieces of paper, dumbass? Eat any good books lately?

So nobody actually read the Obama pandemic response plan? They only counted the pages and scrutinized the staple? The actual content and information should count for something, you’d think. After all, you could print out all of Trump’s tweets in gilt-edge pages, bind them in the finest calf-skin coverrs, and they would, for all their impressive opulence and bulk, still be nothing but a collection of useless bullshit in a nice cover.

It’s funny that they think they’re peak enlightened yet they don’t see the similarity between telling lesbians and gays “You HAVE to train yourself to be attracted to the opposite sex” and telling everyone “You HAVE to train yourself to be attracted to trans people.”
