Girls to the Front has a thread on “Sophie” Cook.
We were not “quite happily” using “Mx” a few years ago. I’ve never used it and never been the slightest bit happy about it. It’s just one more intrusion on and theft of what’s ours.
But it gets worse.

Presumably the quote beginning “Apart from menstruate and give birth…” was in reply to something like “is there anything a woman can do that you can’t?”
Papito, in this context I believe EDI is the same as the more common DEI: diversity, equity, inclusion. And you can see how good at it, hiring a white man for a position reserved for a woman.
Cook has been bankrupt twice: had to drop out of running for MP because of it. Didn’t declare it beforehand. This is a person who is either very unlucky and not good at reading eligibility requirements, or doesn’t have high standards of integrity. I wonder who else applied for the job.
