This guy is an actual working journalist. Hard to believe.

It’s always projection with these people.
How does he remain a working journalist after that vulgar exchange?
Good question.
Has he been reading the Rhys “Rachel” McKinnon/”Veronica Ivy” playbook? (Don’t you know who I am?) On his Linked In profile he claims to be “a journalist, political commentator, public speaker, and social media expert.” Very journalist. So public speaker. Much expert. This isn’t the winning, slam-dunk he seems to think it is. In one post, he’s succeeded in obliterating any (admittedly self-proclaimed) credibility he might have has in all three of these fields simultaneously. I suppose that’s a talent. It does show an admirable economy of effort vs results, though perhaps not in the direction he’d hoped for.
He also says he’s “Currently 1 of the 20 most influential X (Twitter) personalities in Canada ….” Can’t imagine why. Not wanting to bother signing into Linked I don’t know if he includes “loud, proud, clueless, misogynist asshole” on his little, self-stroking CV or not. If it doesn’t, it should. For him, “pathetic internet troll” would be a step up.
Add ‘troll’ to the list of slang terms that has apparently lost all meaning. Once upon a time, a troll was someone who went out of their way to ‘trigger’ other people.
This link may offer some insight into what sort of journalist Mark Slapinski is:
I know nothing about the New American Journal, so I don’t know how much trust to put in the report.
